Overall, this (the evolution research project) looks like a very interesting and useful idea. However, there is one major problem. 

There are two questions about the organism&#039;s &quot;common ancestors.&quot; However, one organism cannot have any &quot;common ancestors,&quot; because that word &quot;common&quot; means &quot;shared.&quot; An organism can only have ancestors in common with other organisms, but that is not the way your questions are asked. What exactly are you trying to ask here? Shouldn&#039;t that wording be changed? Maybe you are just asking for its ancestors, not common ancestors?
